Research and Development
From the idea to the prototype is the idea behind our tradition in R&D.
Intensive, focalized and continuous R&D activities are at the base of our innovation capability. Highly trained technical team, modern high specialized laboratory unit supports a wide range of extrusion and injection pilot units used to simulate different chemistry and different processes in order to obtain new properties and new PET based products: in the last year our R&D unit has improved its capability towards r-PET to generate solution supportive to the circularity of PET.
Technical Area
Our R&D unit is equipped with the latest state of the art equipment to have the widest possibility for internal and third party R&D project:

Multi compounding extrusion line: resin drying units, gravimetric dosing units, high mixing, vacuum, liquid injection, filtering, static mixer devices are available in our flexible extrusion compounding line for polymeric granulate production;

A-PET sheet extrusion line: A; A/B or A/B/A structure at 500 mm width for thermoforming trials ;

Lab thermoforming station;

PET-Foam extrusion line: small PET extrusion boards down to 50 kg/m3 density with direct gas injection;

Injection Molding unit for small specimen production;
